Moments
I believe -- how we experience life is a decision.
I am not talking about just any moment in time. I am speaking about moments that speak to your being. Moments that transcend our concept of time. Moments that change your perception of life and how you experience it. Deep and impactful moments.
The fascinating thing about this life is that any moment can be transformed into a special moment by combining these two things:
Intention and Presence
-
Intention - The level of how committed and direct you are with your words, actions, emotions, and thoughts determines your access.
-
Presence - The level of how immersed you are with people and your environment determines the depth of your experience.
With that, it can be said:
Intention permits access, but presence opens the experience.
When you step into a new situation to do well, make it the best, overcome challenges, unlock opportunities, you must do so with an intentional heart. Having the intention to be, live, act, attain a certain way. This is the access you now have. Because you have decided to be a certain way, and are intentional about it, all of your actions will follow.
When you enter a new circumstance with complete presence of spirit, soul, and body, you find yourself ready to receive and give the most of yourself.
Moments I seek to have are deep unbridled experiences, where you witness, feel, and sense, with every fiber of your being the living power that resides within and all around you.
Connecting with your child. Loving your wife or husband. Talking to a complete stranger about how wonderful the sunrise over the ocean is.
Transform your moments.
Intention is commitment.
When you commit yourself to being intentional, you are in place of being direct and open. Being intentional is the opposite of hesitation.
Presence is dedication.
When you dedicate yourself to being present, you are constantly maintaining a level of attention. Dedicating each moment to not lose focus. Being present is the opposite of distraction.
Avoid hesitation and distraction.
This is fundamental on the surface, but in practice requires vigilance, effort and action. As with any concept each person will identify with or not, aspects that they directly have experienced in life.

- Evaluate

- Commit
- Dedicate
- Experience
Be intentional and present.
